Innovation & Collaboration

A LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop on Innovation & Collaboration

How can one get Innovation & Collaboration together in a couple hours? Well some of us did. One fine Saturday morning, some LinkedIn enthusiasts decided to add to their sunshine by being part of a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) workshop at The Taste of Punjab, Bandra in Mumbai.

It was 9 am on the 13th of April 2019. The Taste of Punjab woke up not just to crockery and cutlery but a pile of colourful bricks on its table. The stage was set for a planned LSP workshop focused on Innovation and collaboration. Those that made it that early that morning did not go back disappointed!

So how did we manage Innovation & Collaboration with LSP? Read on…

The group trickled in slowly and then we got started. With a few basic rules run through, we got underway with some building exercises. It was obvious that each one was warming up to what just 6 bricks could do to help them express themselves!

It started with oh… and ended with A-ha!

Innovation & Collaboration to create The Office of Tomorrow

Innovation & Collaboration are difficult to put together. Our next challenge was we wanted to create something innovative in a couple of hours! The office of tomorrow. Did we do that? Not only did we create the blueprint of the office of tomorrow we had fun doing it!

A short demonstrative LSP workshops that shows the how it can foster innovation and collaboration

Innovation & Collaboration: It started with oh… and ended with A-ha!

Digging deeper our questions went into delve into the subconscious. People got down to brick-laying and creating hitherto unheard of concepts for a future office. It was all possible. It was all doable. More than anything else it was innovative and futuristic.

First Innovation. Then Collaboration

Then we collaborated. We put all of it together to create one great workplace that tomorrow can welcome. A couple of hours, a couple of teams and we had great designs for an innovative office.

So, here’s to the future: ready or not, here we come! Thanks to a wonderful Saturday morning and a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop!

(Thanks also goes out to the wonderful hosts Farzana Suri and Bhaskar Sarma who organized this beautifully, the manager and staff at The Taste of Punjab, the wonderful participants of this workshop and of course the indomitable LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® team – Laxman Murugappan, Mandar Thosar, Vijay Talreja and Nishant Bhagat.

So, what’s next?
