Buddying Up with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
What happens when 7 youths come together and discuss their personal wishes?
First question: are they even willing to share? They could if you used the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Methodology.
Picture this. Here are 7 hardworking, driven, enthusiastic young people. Each set out to do their tasks for the day. They know what they are doing and have come to work with enthusiasm. Jobs To Be Done, we called it in our days.
But now? They have these bricks in front of them. There’s an ask. They build. They share. They reflect.
And things change. Model after model reveal not just who they are, (a humble Minion, one said) what they want to do, but how they will help their colleagues along the way, lend a helping hand, encourage, support and yes, finally reward them!
It was a colourful exchange of dreams and wishes, support and gifts (some of the best rewards suggested were hugs and Biryani!) and a sharing that enabled giggles, laughter and high-fives.
That’s the joy of being a participant in a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop.
That’s also the sense of satisfaction you get when you are a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator. Like I always say it keeps giving.
