It’s all there in black and white – the significance of grey and it’s importance as a very corporate colour. Grey or Gray… the colour remains the same – and could have 50 shades! But hush.. we don’t talk about them here!
Gray is the color of intellect, knowledge, and wisdom. It is perceived as long-lasting, classic, and often as sleek or refined. It is a color that is dignified, conservative, and carrying authority.

Grey neutralises strong colours in a logo and always becomes the accomodating significant other in most logo designs and brand identity templates. By itself, grey in a corporate space represents an air of distinction, wisdom and sagacity. Grey stands for the intellect – remember the grey cells and grey matter?And it’s equivalent to silver for that matter so it comes across as expensive but not ostentatious!
